Suspension

There are many different types of suspension modifications that can be made to a Jeep Wrangler YJ to improve its off-road capability and overall handling. Some examples include:

Suspension lift kits: This raise the body of the Jeep higher off the ground, allowing for larger tires and improved clearance over obstacles. The lift kits are available in different sizes and with different types of components, such as coil springs, leaf springs, shocks, and control arms.

Shocks: Aftermarket shocks can provide improved handling and a smoother ride, both on and off-road. They are available in different types, such as coil-over, twin-tube, and monotube shocks.

Control arms: These are the components that connect the suspension to the frame of the Jeep, and can be upgraded for improved handling and off-road performance.

Steering stabilizer: These are designed to reduce steering wander and improve the steering stability of the vehicle.

Sway bar links: These are connected to the sway bar and helps to control the body roll of the Jeep when cornering.
