Skid Plates

Skid plates are aftermarket accessories that are installed underneath a vehicle and are designed to protect the underside of the vehicle from damage when driving over rough terrain. They are often used on off-road vehicles like the Jeep Wrangler TJ, as the underside of the vehicle can be vulnerable to damage when driving over rocks or other obstacles.

There are several types of skid plates available for the Jeep Wrangler TJ, including:

Engine skid plates: These are installed underneath the engine and are designed to protect the engine and other vital components from damage.

Transmission skid plates: These are installed underneath the transmission and are designed to protect the transmission and other vital components from damage.

Fuel tank skid plates: These are installed underneath the fuel tank and are designed to protect the fuel tank and fuel lines from damage.

It’s important to note that skid plates are not a substitute for proper driving techniques and caution when driving off-road. It’s always a good idea to be aware of your surroundings and to drive within your limits to avoid damaging your vehicle or causing injury to yourself or others.
