Lift Kits

A lift kit is an accessory for the Jeep Wrangler JL that is used to raise the suspension of the vehicle and provide additional clearance for off-road driving or the installation of larger tires. Lift kits are available in a variety of sizes and styles, and can be purchased as a complete kit or as individual components. Some of the components that might be included in a lift kit for the Jeep Wrangler JL include:

Coil springs: Coil springs are used to support the weight of the vehicle and absorb shock. Lift kits often include taller coil springs to raise the suspension of the Jeep.

Control arms: Control arms are used to connect the suspension to the frame of the vehicle and control the movement of the wheels. Lift kits may include longer control arms to accommodate the taller suspension.

Shock absorbers: Shock absorbers are used to dampen the movement of the suspension and improve ride comfort. Lift kits may include longer or more heavily damped shock absorbers to compensate for the taller suspension.

Steering components: Lift kits may include components such as tie rod ends and drag links to correct the steering geometry after the suspension is raised.

When choosing a lift kit for your Jeep Wrangler JL, it’s important to consider the amount of lift that you want to achieve, the type of driving that you will be doing, and the compatibility of the kit with your Jeep’s model and year.
