Yukon Gear & Axle is an American manufacturer of drivetrain components headquartered in Everett, Washington, focused on ring and pinion gears, axle shafts, and locking differential systems used in Jeep Dana axles. Their ring and pinion gear sets are produced from high-grade domestic steel and are a popular choice when Wrangler owners regear their axles to compensate for larger tire diameter, a necessary modification when fitting 35-inch or larger tires to maintain reasonable fuel economy and acceleration. Yukon produces gear sets for the Dana 30 front and Dana 35 rear axles found in JK and older Wranglers, as well as the stronger Dana 44 units found in Rubicon-equipped JL and JK models.
