Volant builds closed-box cold air intake systems for trucks and Jeeps with a product design philosophy focused on isolating the air filter from hot underhood temperatures. Their closed-box intake enclosures are constructed from a rotomolded polymer housing that surrounds the filter element and draws intake air from a cool-air duct positioned outside the hot engine bay environment. For Jeep Wrangler JK and JL owners, Volant offers intake systems for the 3.6L Pentastar V6 and 2.0L turbo engines, using their dry PowerCore filter technology that requires no oil application and can be cleaned with water. The PowerCore media works efficiently over extended service intervals without the oil migration concerns common to some oiled-media intakes. Volant’s intake systems are bolt-in replacements for the factory airbox and intake tube, requiring no permanent modifications to the vehicle.
