How it all Began
Our founder grew up in rural Pennsylvania where Jeeps were just part of life — first as a passenger, then as a driver, then as the guy underneath one with a flashlight on a Saturday afternoon. Five Jeeps later, he was tired of bouncing between a dozen different sites just to find a decent part at a fair price.
He launched Black Dog Mods on July 29, 2015 with a straightforward goal: one place to find aftermarket Jeep parts and mods without the runaround. We’ve been adding to the catalog ever since.
We run everything through Amazon because it’s genuinely the best experience for our customers — real buyer protection, reliable shipping, no sketchy checkout flows.
What Now?
We’ve grown the catalog to thousands of parts, mods, and accessories for Wrangler JL, JK, TJ, YJ, CJ, and the Gladiator. New products get added regularly and we write about builds and upgrades on the blog. Just Jeep people helping Jeep people find what they need.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the saddest update from the Black Dog Mods family. Our beloved lab and the inspiration behind our name, Vegas, has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. After gracing our lives for an incredible 13 years, Vegas peacefully passed away on 7-7-2023. 🌈
Vegas was more than just a dog; he was the embodiment of the spirit that drives us at Black Dog Mods. His loyalty, love, and unwavering presence will forever be missed. He was the true Black Dog that brought us joy and motivated us to offer the best Jeep parts and accessories to fellow enthusiasts.
